GLOBAL WARMING VOODOO

Study: Sea level rising in N.J. faster than rest of East Coast

Dear reader, it seems that the public's scientific illiteracy has reached the point where such headlines run without shame.  Journalistic mendacity in the service of global warming hysteria can always count on the gullibility of the ill educated public.  Is the sea off New Jersey defying the laws of physics?  After laughing out load at the headline, I couldn't help wondering what surfing down the edge of the permanent bubble off Jersey would be like.  Could I surf down it right into Lewes harbor?  Would this hump of water show up on satellite imagery?  The reader still reading this gibberish must wait till the penultimate paragraph to learn that it is the land mass of New Jersey that is sinking, more than the sea rising that is the story.  This sort of thing has happened about 6-7 times in the past 80 thousand years.

So New Jersey, like her sister state Bangladesh, is sinking beneath the waves. At least this piece journalistic rubbish ends on a happy note.

  1. The inconvenient truth of the matter is not that the sea level is rising, but that the intelligence of the liberal media is falling.

  2. Baydog, sorry it took so long for me to post your comment. You're right on the money. My beef is more specifically with the scientific ignorance of the press. These journalism school grads are so defectively educated that they cannot filter BS from fact.
