On the energy front at least Obama is putting the face of reason forward. First he came out with a proposal to advance Atomic energy, and now he has said he is willing to consider opening up previously sacrosanct areas of the sea floor to oil exploration and exploitation.
But is this all that it seems? The fine print has yet to be examined, at least by me, and it's possible that these are just small ploys meant to buttress his image. Beware the triangulator! Still, if these moves are not ploys, they should be welcomed and embraced.
