The fine political commentator and scholar Paul Gottfried's article for Taki's.com contained the following sentence:
"Because of Baker’s announced attempt to be “evenhanded” with the Israelis and Palestinians, the Bush I administration fell into the shorthairs of AIPAC and the neocon press."
I think Paul meant to write "Cross-hairs." The short-hairs of the Neo-cons are best left undiscussed and unvisualized.
