THE BEAVER
A curious sight on the way to the Dr's Office today, .....A dead beaver in the road. There was no mistaking that color and of course that tail. Why this aquatic creature decided to cross six lanes of traffic must remain a mystery. This being Pennsylvania, the beaver was gone an hour later. Someone in Bucks County is out there stretching and drying the pelt as I write. God knows what one would make of just one pelt. Summer pelts are inferior to winter ones I gather. He was a big one and will be missed in some beaver lodge tonight.
