News in the Telegraph today about the progress of Democracy in Iraq. It seems that our Sunni friends have democratically decided to expel or kill their Christian neighbors. Democracy has been so successful in fact, that over half of Iraq's remaining Christians have been driven out. Well, you can't argue with the will of the people can you?
But the Christians are not going peacefully. They are forming their own militias for self defense. Sadly, as they had not been shooting at us before, they are not eligible for the bribes we pay now to our former enemies. Curiously, the militias we bribe not to shoot at us are also Sunni. The Christian militias are equipped by us though. So now that we have brought Democracy to Iraq, all the various factions are free to kill one another, like free men everywhere.
